Our Little Show
I received the script outline from The Reverend Tommy Gunn last night for Tax Me Deadly.

Wow. Impressive. I mean, there's a plot and a weaving of story between acts. I knew Freak Show Deluxe was going this direction because he and I talk frequently about what this type of show could be in a more realized and produced environment. He has risen to the occasion with flair and imagination. I expect nothing less of his marvelous mind.

This show could be quite the moment in time.

Finishing up with Shelby doing "Mule Train"? This *will* be interesting. ;-)

Yeah. Because all good film noir stories end with a musical number of some sort involving pack animals. If it were anyone but Shelby, I'd be worried.

Last night I went to Kat's grand show at the M Bar and saw... ads for Tax Me Deadly! I hadn't connected the Reverend with both events.

He was an excellent MC and entertainer, lively and fun, explicitly leaving lots of space for the women to do their numbers. I chatted with him momentarily after the show, and he seems intelligent and interesting. (I think I'd mentioned reading your blog on LJ but don't know if he heard me.)

I'd already told my friends to see Tax Me Deadly, now I'm looking forward to it even more! This whole show thing is new to me, I'm thrilled to experience more.

I'm a bit biased as The Reverend is probably one of the closest friends I have at the moment. Plus, we share a distant past that stretches back to our teen years. He's quite brilliant and gifted - always has been.
