An Afternoon With Moliere
"You are free to believe what you choose and what you do attests to what you believe." -- A Course of Miracles

"Sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can." -- Richard Bach

Today is an oddly enchanting (or vexing) day in Los Angeles. It's already been a whirlwind as Hollywood is taken over by political fever. CNN started broadcasting American Morning from Hollywood Blvd in front of the Kodak Theater at 3 am. I am sure it is now a veritable disaster of traffic and lookers on as the debate draws near.

I wish I was traveling toward Downtown Los Angeles as this evening there will be a little skyline art. Several buildings will be sporting hearts in honor of Women's Heart Health Month. I wonder if it will be marvelous or silly.

I took a quick look at the menu for tonight's media dinner. It looks decadent. But as I was perusing the various courses, I came across that dreaded substance known as the beet. That blasted vegetable is now stalking me. I haven't seen it in a decade and suddenly it is everywhere. I hope I am able to avoid it with grace or, at least, not a great deal of notice. I could always snub it out right. I suppose I shall allow the moment to surprise me.

I have a few hours to myself before I must brave the cold, the crowds and the whole three ring circus of Hollywood at night. I'm watching Moliere, a remarkable movie, and hoping this trip doesn't set my health back yet again.
