Golden Globe Sunday
We haven't had a real Golden Globe ceremony in two years. In honor of the occasion, someone ordered a swath of tropical air and thawed out Los Angeles. It seems so strange to be celebrating at all in a time that I've been told we can now refer to as a depression but I relish the chance to escape into glamour and simmer in the inspirational stardust of other people's dreams that happen to also be mine.
I'm not lingering long in this space. I am still nursing a sore shoulder that makes it impossible for me to sit at the computer for more than a half hour at a time. I thought I would pierce my private bubble for a moment and gurgle over with a little fountain of glittery spray to assure you I am still lighting up my corner of the sky here in Hollywood.
